As a relatively new organization we
continue to evolve our purpose and direction.
The plan is to grow our membership to
the point where we can:
- sponsor or co-sponsor conferences
- develop our own conferences,
workshops or lunchtime speaker sessions
- produce a quarterly newsletter
- produce promotional material and
brochures
- augment our website to include
on-line registration, a resources database, (example policies, forms
and procedures) and a moderated mailing list.
- offer a resume referral service
- encourage networking through
regular meetings and perhaps expand to include provincial chapters
- build partnerships with other
rehabilitation professionals and organizations
- investigate & develop a
comprehensive list of educational institutions delivering Disability
Management /Return to Work Programs
